Bob Bennie, CFP^®

Bob Bennie and his team work with individuals, families, companies and institutions to help them build, manage, protect and transition comprehensive wealth. This includes all types of investments, risk management and estate planning. For over two decades Bob has helped clients grow and protect their wealth. As an independent financial advisor, he's able to focus on his client’s needs and develop personalized strategies to help them achieve their goals. Bob received his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at the University of Nebraska in 1983 and was on the UNL Rodeo team, riding bareback horses and bulls. His first career was with Monsanto, as a sales rep in Manhattan, KS. In 1993, Bob earned his Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Kansas State University.

In 1994 Bob ran for U.S. Congress in Kansas, narrowly losing in the Republican primary. Following his brief political career, he joined Edward Jones as an investment representative in Lincoln, NE. In 1997, Bob left Edward Jones to start his own financial planning firm, Bob Bennie Wealth Management, Inc. He earned his CFP® (Certified Financial Planner™) certification in 1997, he is a member of the Financial Planning Association and served as a board member of the FPA Nebraska. In 2009, Bob Bennie was named by Barron’s Magazine as one of the Top 1000 Financial Planners in the United States.

Bob and his wife Angelia live on 20 acres south of Lincoln. They are active members of Christ's Place Church. One of Bob's passions is Royal Family Kids Camp where he serves as a counselor in the summer and mentor through the school year. Bob is also a political conservative and passionate about freedom and the Constitution. Activities include racquetball, volleyball, horses, fishing and waterfowl hunting. Bob is a life member of the National Rifle Association and the American Quarter Horse Association.
