Jamie is an independent Wealth Planner that grew up in Orangeburg, SC. He is an alumnus of The Citadel, The Military College of SC, a member of Shandon Baptist Church, a father to three children, and a resident of Forest Acres, SC.
He has over two decades of industry experience that has endured the 2001 attack on the Twin Towers, the War on Terror, the Great Recession of 2008, and the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic. As his financial advisory practice grew, he founded Accumulus Financial Group, LLC (“Accumulus”). Jamie’s spouse, Leah, helps provide Accumulus with additional support for families with special needs.
Jamie met the CFP Board’s rigorous qualifications to use the Certified Financial Planner™ credential in 2008, one of the most well regarded credentials in the industry. He also has the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor designation.
Leah holds a PhD in School Psychology from the University of South Carolina. She has over 15 years of experience helping families with special needs in a clinical setting, the public sector, and the private sector.
Jamie has been a Board Member of SC's Chapter of the Financial Planning Association since 2018 and currently serves as its Vice President. Jamie’s other interests include reading, history, traveling, and technology.
