Financial Advisor Overview

I work with physicians, business owners, and high-earning professionals who are approaching important financial decisions, particularly in the years leading up to retirement or business transition. My practice is planning-first and strategy-driven. Every engagement begins with comprehensive financial planning that integrates retirement income design, tax strategy, investment structure, and estate coordination into one cohesive framework, and when appropriate, business succession planning is incorporated early in the process. I act as a fiduciary when providing financial planning services, meaning I am legally obligated to place my clients’ interests first. While compensation may include both fee-based and commission structures depending on the solution implemented, recommendations are guided by the planning process and the client’s objectives, not by product selection. Physicians often face high income combined with complex tax exposure and partnership arrangements, while business owners preparing for transition must address valuation, liquidity, income replacement, and legacy planning decisions well before an event occurs. My role is to bring clarity, structure, and alignment to these moving parts so clients can move forward with confidence. Investment management supports the plan, not the other way around.

Financial Advisor Experience

My advisory experience reflects a consistent focus on complex financial structures and coordinated planning. I have worked with physicians managing partnership equity and deferred compensation arrangements, business owners preparing for succession or liquidity events, and professionals overseeing concentrated positions and multi-entity income streams. These situations frequently require collaboration with tax professionals, attorneys, and other advisors to ensure long-term strategy remains aligned. This exposure has shaped a disciplined approach that integrates tax efficiency, retirement income strategy, and investment oversight into one coordinated framework. As a Certified Exit Planner™, I assist business owners in preparing for transition well before a transaction occurs. My additional credentials — Certified Financial Planner™, Certified Private Wealth Advisor®, and Certified Investment Management Analyst® — reflect a commitment to advanced technical competency and fiduciary responsibility. I also serve in a leadership role with the Financial Planning Association of Connecticut, contributing to professional development initiatives within the planning community. My background combines institutional training with practical exposure to entrepreneurial environments, reinforcing a structured yet adaptable advisory approach.
