Financial Advisor Overview

Andy Baxley is a fee-only financial planner based in Chicago and serving clients nationwide. He is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner, a Certified Investment Management Analyst® professional, and in early 2021 will complete Kansas State University’s master’s in financial planning (MSFP) program, with concentrations in advanced financial planning and financial therapy. His firm, The Planning Center, offers comprehensive financial planning services, research-based portfolio management, tax preparation, and access to extensive expertise from a collaborative team of CFP® practitioners, Certified Public Accountants, and Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professionals™. Andy’s approach to financial planning is guided by three core beliefs: 1. Financial planning should be intentional, personal, and integrated. No two financial plans are the same, just as no two people are the same. Purposeful planning begins with an exploration of each client’s most cherished hopes and values. 2. The best client-planner relationships are rooted in collaboration and authenticity. The financial planner’s role is to facilitate essential conversations, simplify the complex, and provide the ongoing accountability, coaching, and expertise needed to ensure continuous progress. 3. Clients deserve honest, transparent advice, not a covert sales pitch. That is why Andy adheres to the fiduciary standard of client care and is a proud member of the fee-only planner community.
