Certified Financial Planners have a proven blueprint for success—but your planner builds it entirely around you.

Summarized from the CFP® Board's Practice Standards. cfp.net
First – Let’s get to know each other. Upon request, I offer a free 60-minute virtual meeting with you to determine if we can form a financial planning partnership to help you reach your goals. The consultation is an opportunity for us to get more information about each other. You can ask questions about me and my firm, and I will gather more information about you and your financial planning needs and goals. You will receive a client introduction form, company brochure, and additional privacy statements for completion and review prior to the complimentary consultation. Second - If we mutually agree that a financial planning engagement is appropriate, we will enter into a written financial planning engagement. You can expect a planning or advice process that, generally, proceeds as follows: 1. Gathering data and setting goals – Three to four virtual meetings to have a conversation about your financial life experiences and your specific goals. 2. Data review and clarification – This phase of the planning process may overlap with the data gathering phase. Additional documents and meetings may be required to ensure the most accurate information is available to analyze your financial strengths and vulnerabilities. 3. Plan presentation and discussion – Up to a 90-minute meeting to discuss findings and planner recommendations. BradfordCrane Company engagements do not provide for implementation of the advice by the planner. Clients are responsible for implementing recommendations, all or in part. 4. Two complimentary 1-hour follow-up meetings may be scheduled to answer any client questions and review client progress on completion of any recommended action steps. Your letter of engagement provides specific parameters for the financial planning engagement. My primary purpose is delivering the action items and education that lead you toward your goals and overall financial wellness. Let’s Go!
