I work with individuals and couples who are planning for retirement or already have retired. I do not manage their investments or sell any investment or insurance products. My clients manage their own investments or use investment advisors. What I provide is independent expertise on the many other parts of retiree financial planning. I offer a free Retirement Planning Primer you can request. My services work best with clients that prefer independent expertise and guidance as opposed to significant hand holding. I can help them address the following and other retirement focused questions 1. Am I financially ready to retire? 2. When should I start collecting Social Security benefits? 3. What is an appropriate amount of investment risk in my situation? 4. How can I prepare for Long Term Care expenses? 5. Should I consider Roth conversions or other tax saving strategies? 6. Should I consider purchasing an annuity? If so which type? 7. How do I choose between a pension lump sum or annuity payout option? 8. Can I start gifting funds to my heirs? 9. Do I still need life insurance? 10. Should I consider a reverse mortgage? 11. How might I plan for bequests? I serve strictly as a fiduciary to provide unbiased advice on an hourly basis.
