Retirees or Seniors

Don’t think of retirement as simply an investment problem. It’s a coordination problem. Your income & spending all affect one another.
Working in Retirement

Coordinate your work income with Social Security, Medicare, taxes and withdrawals so earning more does not create unintended consequences.
Early Retirement or Financial Independence

Build a flexible income plan that bridges the years before Social Security and Medicare while managing taxes, withdrawals and risk.
Retirement Planning

Coordinate your income, investments, taxes, Social Security, Medicare and estate plan so each decision supports your overall strategy.
Sudden Wealth or Inheritance

Avoid rushing into major decisions. Take time to understand the tax, investment, estate and cash-flow impact before putting money to work.

I believe good financial advice starts with understanding the whole picture. Before making recommendations, I take the time to understand what matters most to you, what you want your money to accomplish, and the financial decisions standing between you and those goals. My approach is based on the framework I developed in my book, 5 Steps to Retirement Planning. We coordinate five areas of your financial life: investment planning, financial planning, tax planning, estate planning, and lifestyle planning. Rather than looking at each decision in isolation, we consider how they work together. Clients work directly with me and are supported by the broader resources of Savvy Advisors. As both a CFA® charterholder and CFP® professional, I bring investment management and comprehensive financial planning together in one relationship. You can expect a structured process, ongoing communication, and advice designed around your life, not a product or a model portfolio. My goal is to simplify your financial life, help you make informed decisions, and keep your plan coordinated as your circumstances, markets, and tax laws change.
