Black Americans

Many successful Black Americans are the 'firsts' in their families to achieve significant corporate or entrepreneurial wealth. With that success often comes the unspoken cultural expectation to financially support extended family and the broader community. My advice is to stop providing financial bailouts and establish trusts to protect your assets, optimize your executive compensation and equity for tax efficiency, and structure your family support so it does not derail your own growth.
