Summarized from the CFP® Board's Practice Standards. cfp.net
My practice is based on a fiduciary standard of always acting in clients' best interest, and bringing to bear a substantial foundation of knowledge and experience to help clients with their unique concerns and goals. The process begins with opened ended conversations, to identify the client's concerns and goals as well as how I may help. Once a mutual fit is established, clients can engage my services under a fee based advisory agreement in which the client's needs are defined: financial planning, asset management, etc. A fundamental aspect of my practice is accountability based upon responsiveness in communications and continuous monitoring of client goals via periodic review meetings. It is through superior service and results that we retain clients in life-long relationships.
