Your income has helped you build wealth. The next step is understanding what that wealth makes possible, beyond simply accumulating more.
Pre-Retiree

Most folks focus on the 'when' and don't spend nearly enough time on the 'what'. What does your day to day look like in retirement?
Retirees or Seniors

You've spent a lifetime saving for retirement. Now the focus should be making sure your money supports the life you want.
Early Retirement or Financial Independence

Financial independence isn't just about leaving work behind. It's about having the freedom to choose how you spend your time, on your terms.
Retirement Planning

Retirement planning isn't just about when you can retire. It's about creating the freedom to spend your time doing what matters most.
Sudden Wealth or Inheritance

Sudden wealth doesn't mean sudden decisions. Take time to process what you've received, what matters most to you, and the choices it creates
Certified Financial Planners have a proven blueprint for success—but your planner builds it entirely around you.

Summarized from the CFP® Board's Practice Standards. cfp.net
Most people don't seek out a financial planner because they need another investment recommendation. They're looking for answers to questions that have become increasingly important as their financial lives have grown more complex. Can I afford to retire earlier than I originally planned? Am I taking more investment risk than I need to? Am I making smart decisions about taxes? Could I step away from my career, work less, or spend more time doing the things I enjoy? And perhaps most importantly, what is all this money actually going to allow me to do? Those are the kinds of questions I help clients work through. My approach begins with understanding what you're trying to accomplish, what's concerning you, and what financial decisions may be standing in your way. I don't believe in jumping straight to recommendations before understanding the bigger picture. Often, clients have accumulated substantial wealth, but their financial lives have become something of a collection of disconnected pieces. Retirement accounts, investments, company stock, insurance policies, and tax decisions may all be handled independently, without a clear strategy connecting them. My role is to help bring those pieces together. That means looking at how your investments, taxes, retirement income, and longer-term goals interact, identifying opportunities and potential problems, and helping you make informed decisions. With nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, I've learned that good financial planning isn't about predicting what markets will do next. It's about developing a strategy that can accommodate uncertainty while giving you the confidence to make decisions about your life. Ultimately, I want clients to understand not just where they stand financially, but what their financial resources make possible.
