Retirement Planning
Certified Financial Planners have a proven blueprint for success—but your planner builds it entirely around you.

Summarized from the CFP® Board's Practice Standards. cfp.net
Sunflower Financial Planning specializes in crafting tailored financial and retirement plans with a focus on tax efficiency, financial security and flexibility. We are a fiduciary registered investment advisor which means we put the client’s interests first 100% of the time. We don't sell products or receive commissions. We specialize in helping families in the midlife stage navigate complex financial responsibilities and also work closely with pre-retirees who are preparing to transition into retirement. Our clients are often balancing competing priorities—saving for their own future, supporting aging parents, and funding college education for their children. Many of our clients are current or former employees of public and private corporations, or they have a partner who works for a publicly traded or private corporation that provides retirement plans such as 401k and, in many cases, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, as well as equity compensation such as options, RSUs, and other forms of equity awards.
