Women & Female Leaders

Write down what 'enough' means for you. Every financial decision after that gets easier.

I work with women who carry the financial decisions in their lives, often at the points where those decisions get harder to undo: an equity event, the last few years before retirement, the loss of a spouse, or an inheritance. Many of them have spent years taking care of everyone and everything else, and their own plan has come last. My approach starts with what you want your life to look like, then fits your investments, taxes, retirement income, and estate around it, so every piece works toward the same goal. The clients and moments below are where I spend most of my time.

Retirement Planning

Plan where your retirement income will come from, and in what order. That order shapes how much tax you pay for decades.
Widowhood

Handle only what is urgent at first. Big decisions you can't undo, like selling your home, can wait until you feel steadier.

We start with a free 15-minute call to see whether Align is the right advice team for you. If it is, we meet for a Discovery Meeting, where we go deeper into your full financial picture and what matters most to you. At the Outcomes Discussion, I show you what I heard, what we would work on first, and the scope of our engagement. When you onboard, we build your initial plan, the Wealth Blueprint™, with a prioritized action list, and we put it into motion together. Ninety days later, we review what has been done. From there, the plan runs on a calendar: a fall meeting focused on year-end tax planning, and a spring meeting covering everything that has changed in your plan and your life. I also coordinate with your CPA, so your tax return reflects the planning we did during the year.
