Thank you for your inquiry about financial planning. I am glad you are here. I am a fiduciary fee only financial planner and do not require a minimum investment balance. I recommend a full financial plan which starts with you detailing the financial goals you would like to achieve and entails a full review of your current financial situation. It starts with looking at cash flow and debt balances and savings. Then a review is done on your tax forms to see where there are opportunities. Next is a review of your insurance policies, life, disability, medical, home, auto and umbrella to ensure your assets are protected. Retirement benefits are then reviewed that are offered at your employer, if that is applicable, along with information shared about social security and Medicare. Next a review is performed on your current investments to ensure they are meeting your retirement goals in terms of timing and risk. Lastly, estate planning is reviewed to ensure you have the proper beneficiaries named, powers of attorney, a trust if applicable, and a will. I charge $2,500 for a plan and it usually takes 4-6 weeks over 2-4 meetings to design the recommendations along with discussing them with you. The software I use is eMoney to create your net worth and cash flow reports. In addition, Morningstar is used to evaluate and create your investments. Please check out my website for further information about the planning process and current blogs.
