Certified Financial Planners have a proven blueprint for success—but your planner builds it entirely around you.

Summarized from the CFP® Board's Practice Standards. cfp.net
I work primarily with technology professionals navigating RSUs, concentrated stock, taxes, career transitions, and the question of when work can become optional. My process starts by getting the full picture in one place: compensation, investments, taxes, benefits, cash flow, and the goals those resources are meant to support. From there, we build the plan, identify what needs attention first, and put decisions on a calendar rather than waiting until something becomes urgent. A lot of my work is about sequencing. What should happen before the next vest? How much company stock is reasonable to keep? Where should cash come from if you retire early? What tax decisions should be made this year instead of five years from now? I also use visual planning tools to make the tradeoffs easier to understand. I want clients to be able to see how the pieces fit together, not just receive a long report. For wealth management clients, financial planning and portfolio management are handled together on an ongoing basis. I also offer financial planning on its own for clients who prefer to manage their investments themselves.
