Certified Financial Planners have a proven blueprint for success—but your planner builds it entirely around you.

Summarized from the CFP® Board's Practice Standards. cfp.net
All financial planners in our firm work with clients through a comprehensive, personal approach to financial planning and wealth management. As independent, fee-only fiduciary advisors, we are legally obligated to put our clients’ interests ahead of our own. We are not tied to any investment or insurance products or influenced by sales incentives, which allows us to focus on what we believe is best for each client. For more than 25 years, our firm has worked with clients as a team. I may be the primary advisor in a relationship, but clients benefit from the experience and perspective of a broader group of financial planners, investment professionals, and tax professionals. We believe that team approach leads to better decisions and provides continuity over time. Good planning begins with understanding the person behind the numbers, their goals, concerns, family circumstances, values, and the decisions that matter most to them. From there, we develop a financial plan that guides the investment strategy, rather than allowing the investment portfolio to drive the plan. Our investment management approach is practical and disciplined. We favor diversified, understandable, low-cost investment strategies. We place a strong emphasis on retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, risk management, charitable giving, and the many financial decisions that arise over a lifetime. Clients can expect thoughtful analysis, straightforward recommendations, and a long-term relationship. I believe the real value of an advisor goes beyond calculations and investment performance. It is often found in helping clients exercise good judgment, avoid costly mistakes, navigate uncertainty, and use their financial resources in ways that support the people and purposes that matter most to them.
