I'm a pragmatic optimist. I'll give you a clear picture of where things stand so we can spend our time on what can be done about it. My goal is to help you use your wealth to live a life you designed, not one that just happens to you.

Executives

I know the hard work and stressful decisions that you have to weigh in on each and every day, which is why it is best to have trusted professional guidance on making sure you and your family are well positioned financially, giving you one less thing to keep you up at night
High Earning First Generation

Just because you're the first in your family to be able to create this type of wealth doesn't mean it's something that you have to do alone. Through ongoing professional guidance we can work to ensure that you're also not the last in your family to be able to live the life that they envision

Early Retirement or Financial Independence

Many want to retire early to be able to enjoy and live life while they're still healthy enough to do so to their fullest. We still need to think about what happens in the more "traditional" years of retirement and make sure that there's money left to enjoy the golden years as well.
Starting a Business

Many start a business envisioning gangbusters success from day one. While some do achieve that status; many do not. In either case you should have a plan to protect you, your family, and the dreams that you have for your personal life
Sudden Wealth or Inheritance

Sudden wealth or inheritances oftentimes come with far too many instructions or absolutely none at all. In either case we need to develop a plan that lets you live the life that you envision while honoring and acknowledging the source of your newly found wealth

Summarized from the CFP® Board's Practice Standards. cfp.net
I work with clients on an ongoing basis. Most meet with me two to four times a year, though that number moves up or down with the season of life you're in and what a given year calls for. I build your full plan, and the pieces get built together: taxes, investments, retirement, estate, and risk management. That last one covers your life, disability, property and casualty, and umbrella insurance, since a gap there can undo good work everywhere else. Most of my clients are business owners or professionals with equity compensation, so much of the work lives in the details: how an exit is structured, when your stock vests, which year the income lands in. I handle not only the tax planning, but the tax preparation in-house. If your return has outgrown doing it yourself, I can take it over. If you already have a preparer you trust, I'll work alongside them. I work virtually with clients across the country, and you work directly with me every time.
