Keith Malooley is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with 17 years of industry experience. Keith’s comprehensive, advisory-based approach focuses on all aspects of his clients’ needs including financial planning, investment management, trust & estate planning, succession planning, philanthropy, and wealth transfer strategies.
Prior to joining Geneva, Keith was a Director at BMO Private Bank where he served as a Wealth Advisor & Senior Portfolio Manager for high-net worth clients. He specializes in planning related to liquidity events such as IPOs, Dividend Recaps, ESOPs, outright sale of ownership stake, and retirement. His broad client base includes privately-held business owners and C-Suite executives of public and sponsor-owned companies.
Keith was a voting member of BMO’s Asset Allocation Committee which is responsible for determining investment strategy for investment portfolios within the Personal Investment Management Group of the Private Bank. He was also a contributing editor for the REITs section of the bank's flagship research publication, The Asset Allocation Metrics.
Prior to BMO, Keith was a Portfolio Manager at Northern Trust Company and was responsible for over $500 million in high-net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
Keith is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of Chicago, Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and the Financial Planning Association of Illinois. He holds a B.S. in Finance with a Minor in Economics from Illinois State University.
