Financial Advisor Overview

When it comes to financial advice, you need wisdom and guidance -- but most importantly, you want to ensure that the advice you receive will address your greatest financial needs – both now and in the future. We’ve determined that there are multiple common wealth management issues affecting everyone, and James Fogal (a certified financial planner professional) can help you systematically address each of these key areas. The wealth management issues listed below isn’t a cookie cutter model used to force you into particular investments. Instead, it’s a transformational process in which James can address your many financial needs. Elements of the holistic planning process can incorporate any or all of the following:

Priority planning – help your family identify goals and develop a plan to achieve those goals

Cash flow and debt management - By evaluating how you spend your money each month, I may be able to identify opportunities for improving your cash flow. This may include simple tax strategies and debt management solutions such as refinancing, debt consolidation, or changing tax withholdings. By leveling the investment playing field, you may discover there’s more money to invest toward your financial goals than you originally thought.

Investment management – James can help you develop a custom investment strategy personalized by considering your investment goals, your risk level, your time horizon, income needs and tax implications.

Family risk management – Learning more about your situation enables James to identify potential risks and establish plans that will meet your needs now, and into the future. While you may believe your current insurance policies will provide ample security, it may not be enough. By taking a closer look, James will be able to provide you with insights as to whether your current plan is appropriate or needs modifications. This approach will be invaluable in protecting your most important asset – your family.

Retirement planning – The first step in addressing this growing concern is obtaining a clear vision of how you define retirement. In other words, what are you hoping to achieve? Identifying these desires will give James a starting point for determining the level of assets needed to fund that vision. Regardless of your stage in life, James can utilize a leading-edge planning tool that will detail the necessary steps to take in order to turn your goals into a reality.

Education planning - Education savings plans can be confusing, and it’s important to have someone who can help you understand how your savings will affect your child’s or grandchild’s ability to qualify for financial aid, as well as the implications for your income, gift and estate tax situation. With the many education savings plans available, I can offer a solution that doesn’t interfere with your other investment planning goals.

Tax planning – As an Accredited Tax Advisor, James can help you incorporate wise strategies to be tax-smart across your entire financial plan.

Employee benefit planning – With proper planning, James can assist you to maximize employee benefit programs that may be available to your family – providing important risk management and tax-efficient strategies to help you achieve your goals.

Legacy and estate planning – The last thing you want is to leave your family in a position of making important decisions during an emotionally fragile state. James Fogal – an Accredited Estate Planner -- can help you devise an approach to reduce the stress and red tape associated with the loss of a loved one, and more importantly, keep the government from collecting valuable assets never intended for its possession. By devising a legacy plan now, James can help you minimize potential estate taxes and maximize the funds left to your family.

The above wealth management issues are much more than areas to discuss in our meetings. They are building blocks for providing a truly holistic planning approach to your greatest financial needs. It’s easy to see how each of these areas play a key role in every client’s financial future. The key differentiator is in addressing your unique needs, and James will work closely with you to create a sound financial roadmap exclusive to you.
