About Open Road
We create great client experiences by focusing on the following goals and standards
Our use of technology makes our clients’ lives more efficient and simplifies how we work together. We use technology to communicate virtually (if preferred by our clients), assess and model risk, develop great financial plans, create efficient portfolios, and clients can see all their accounts in one place, regardless of where they are held, through our client portal.
I am a fee-only, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the founder of Open Road Wealth Management, LLC. I have put in the work to be a well-educated and experienced financial advisor. I’ve done the BSBA, MBA, and CFP® things and have worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. During that time, I have worked in the corporate setting as well as the small-firm environment. Over the years, I have developed specialties in helping those planning for or enjoying retirement, advising those in crisis situations, and giving second opinions.
I left the corporate world and founded Open Road Wealth Management so I could deliver financial planning and investment management that focuses on the needs of individuals and families.
My home has been Kansas City my entire life. This is where I have built great relationships, supported the community, and in the process of raising three wonderful children. As a family, we enjoy staying active by playing sports, traveling to new places in the RV, motorcycle riding, and following the Golden Rule.
Rest assured, I have the experience and character to help you move along the Open Road to financial success.
