Fernando Ortiz is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and member of the Financial Planning Association. Serving clients at Valeo Financial Advisors, LLC in Ann Arbor, MI and the surrounding communities.
Helping you achieve lifelong financial well-being is the primary focus of Valeo Financial Advisers, LLC. We have a fiduciary duty to act in your best interest and adhere to a prudent, unbiased approach to managing your money. Our asset management process starts with learning about you and your goals. We will recommend a portfolio structure that invests your assets according to your specific time frame. We go beyond your portfolio to take a comprehensive look at all aspects of your financial life and provide guidance to set you on a path to financial well-being.
I am a Certified Financial Planner® professional with more than 25 years in financial services, with an emphasis on investment management, financial planning and retirement planning services. Prior to joining Veleo Financial Advisers, I spent 14 years with TIAA-CREF as a personal financial consultant and a wealth management advisor to university retirement plan participants.
With my background in a broad range of financial disciplines, I am able to help affluent investors find appropriate solutions for their needs. In addition to being a CFP®, I hold the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation and the Series 65 securities license.
I am a member (and former board member) of the Financial Planning Association of Michigan and of the Washtenaw County Estate Planning Council. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and completed graduate studies at Eastern Michigan University.
