Welcome to CMP Financial Planning!
Accomplishing your family’s personal goals is the focus of our long-term engagement. Every family is unique, and we understand that you want advice and strategies that are unique in order to maximize your wealth and, ultimately, achieve your goals. During the planning process we will discuss these goals with special attention to retirement, college, special need family members, business planning, and charitable giving.
We will also analyze your insurance coverage, estate plans, investment accounts, business plans, tax requirements and other issues that may come along—since life always creates new circumstances. Fortunately, as an independent financial planning organization, we utilize disciplined and academic approaches to investment management and financial decisions so that we are better positioned to recommend solutions and advice that is innovative and free from biases and conflicts of interest. Often we can help clients achieve their goals by strategically reorganizing and repositioning their assets. We strive to provide solutions that result in financial strategies that more than offset our fees. Our clients hear from us pro-actively and often.
As the founder of CMP Financial Planning, I have been in the field since 1994. In addition to maintaining an active practice, I have also taught undergraduate and graduate-level financial planning at Franklin University and DeVry’s Keller Graduate School of Management, and the CFP certification program at The Ohio State University.
I enjoy speaking at various community adult education and non-profit organizational events and have contributed articles that have been published in The Columbus Dispatch, Business First, and other publications.
