Charles Ivey is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and member of the Financial Planning Association. Serving clients at Bridgeworth + SAVANT in Birmingham, AL and the surrounding communities.
Prior to joining the firm, Zach started his financial career as an agent and registered representative with New York Life and NYLife Securities and helped individuals and business owners with insurance and investment planning. Zach joined the firm in 2003 and has been a valuable asset to the firm bringing his specialized knowledge of complex insurance concepts and how they coordinate within the framework of a financial plan.
Zach graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in marketing. In addition, he received a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in finance from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Zach has attained the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Zach is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner (CFP®) awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
Zach is an active member of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama and sits on the board as the Director of Public Relations whose charge is to inform the public about financial planning and educate on financial topics. Zach enjoys writing articles and speaking publicly to educate people about the value of financial planning.
Zach is married to Sarah Ivey and they currently have one son named Anderson. Zach is a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church and is involved in several ministries there.
